Tom Cruise And Katie Holmes Divorce A Sham As Tom Plans To Keep Suri In Scientology

Thursday, July 12, 2012 0 comments
Katie Holmes was so determined that Suri won't be involved in Scientology, she insisted on an "ironclad" clause in her divorce settlement from her husband Tom Cruise, preventing her 6 year old daughter from having anything to do with the controversial practice.

But according to new reports, that is not going to stop Cruise from indoctrinating the six-year-old into Scientology.

That's the reason why the so-called "amicable divorce" between the former Hollywood couple is a sham.

According to "Star magazine", Tom Cruise, 50, has planned Suri's indoctrination into the religion for many years, and will not go down without a fight.

"Tom will do whatever it takes to make sure he comes out on top," a source told Star.

"Everything is going on the line - the homes, the jets, the money in the bank. He’s worth up to $250 million, and he’s made it clear that he’s willing to spend every last cent fighting for Suri" the source added.

It has to be noted that according to an "Us Weekly" report, before the pair's split Tom had already started the controversial audit practice, which aims to cure emotional and mental issues and set them on a path enlightenment, behind Katie's back.

"Tom was beginning to audit Suri behind (Holmes’s) back", a source told the American magazine - a claim strenuously dismissed by Tom's spokesman.

"You get asked really intense things (during auditing) - and Suri is only 6! Katie saw a difference in Suri."

After Katie blindsided Cruise with the divorce last month, Tom's reported shock turned into anger.

"What really shocks him is how meticulously she planned this divorce, when all the while she was telling him she loved him. He’s devastated by that, and that devastation has turned into anger,"  a source told Star magazine.

It has to be noted that Katie and Tom reached a settlement on Monday, just two weeks after Katie initially filed for divorce.

Holmes now has primary custody of their daughter Suri, with Tom allowed visitation rights.

Suri is also reportedly forbidden from going to any of the organisation's churches.

Under terms of the settlement, Suri isn’t permitted to be exposed to anything Scientology-related, and this includes going to any Scientology churches, parties, etc.

"Katie made sure that this was ironclad in the agreement," a source told "Radar Online" on Monday.

It is claimed that Katie registered with a Catholic church in New York.

According to a new report, Holmes has formally confirmed her return to Catholicism by signing up to the Church of St. Francis Xavier.

As for Katie's decision to register as a parishioner at the church has been met with excitement by the congregation.

One member of the church choir told the "Huffington Post": "Everyone is thrilled to have Katie join us. She has not yet attended a service, but when she does she will be welcomed with open arms."

Katie's decision to register with the church is sure to be seen as her final way of distancing herself from Scientology.

Her latest move was thought to be a sign that Suri would follow in Katie's Catholic footsteps, rather than follow her dad and his devotion to Scientology.

On the other hand, it appears that Katie will be in for a long battle with Tom.

Tom Cruise Files A Lawsuit Against "The National Enquirer": Why?

According to "The Hollywood Reporter", Tom Cruise's attorney has threatened the parent company of the "National Enquirer" with a multimillion-dollar lawsuit over a new issue asserting it has details of Cruise's recent divorce with wife Katie Holmes.

To be more exact, "The Hollywood Reporter" on its website posted a letter from Cruise's Los Angeles attorney, Bert Fields, in which he blasts "American Media Inc", parent of the Enquirer, for what he calls "false and vicious lies" he claims will cause "hundreds of millions of dollars" in damages to Cruise.

"As you were notified in advance, your current issue of National Enquirer makes numerous false and defamatory assertions about our client Tom Cruise," the three-page letter begins.

The letter draws attention to disparaging descriptions of Cruise in the Enquirer's issue that hit newsstands on Wednesday.

Fields wrote: "These are all lies - vicious, hurtful, damaging lies."

It has to be noted that Cruise and Holmes have been the subject of hundreds of headlines worldwide since Katie filed for divorce from Tom Cruise two weeks ago, seeking sole custody of their 6-year-old daughter, Suri.

Earlier this week, the pair agreed to a divorce and custody arrangement, but details were undisclosed.

Both have remained publicly silent about the issue, except for one joint statement in which they said they were working together to settle their differences in the best interest of Suri.

It has been highly estimated by various websites, blogs and celebrity watchers that the reason for the split has been Cruise's membership in the Church of Scientology, but that has never been confirmed by either the couple or their representatives.

Katie Holmes Secret Calls To Nicole Kidman Before Tom Cruise's Divorce

It has been revealed that Katie Holmes made secret calls to Tom Cruise's ex wife, Nicole Kidman, while masterminding her marriage exit strategy.

The seemingly mild-mannered Katie Holmes surprised the world - and most of all Cruise - with a carefully executed split which included moving apartments, switching to a disposable mobile phone, changing her security and filing for sole custody of their daughter Suri.

Now an American magazine is reporting that Katie Holmes, 33, sought counsel from Nicole, 45, in an effort to avoid the same fate as Kidman, who now rarely sees the kids she shares with Cruise, 50.

"They've spoken over the last few weeks," an insider is quoted as saying "Us Weekly" magazine.

"Nicole has been supportive, saying she's been through it too and to hang in there" the source claims.

The same source reveals Katie that occasionally talked to Nicole during the early stages of her marriage when Nicole called to speak to Connor, 17, and Isabella, 19, and then reconnected again recently.

"She has been a private friend not many people know about,"the insider continued. "She told Katie her life is great now and she has no regrets."

It has to be noted that Tom filed for divorce from Nicole in 2001 after 11 years of marriage and the divoce had a profound effect on her relationship with their two adopted children, who are both hardcore Scientologists like their dad.

Nicole, who now also has two young daughters with her new husband Keith Urban, has hinted at her heartbreak over the distance between them.

Nicole stated in 2010: "They live with Tom, which was there choice. I'd love them to live with us but what can you do."

Isabella revealed earlier this year that she only sees her mother "sometimes'".

As for Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, they appeared to refer to the religious aspect of their divorce in a joint statement, released, which stated: "We want to keep matters affecting our family private and express our respect for each other's commitment to each of our respective beliefs and support each other's roles as parents."
